Junk removal in Prospect Heights
From the brownstones off Vanderbilt to the towers by Barclays, we clear it all.
Prospect Heights packs two kinds of building into a small footprint. The brownstone blocks running off Vanderbilt and Washington, and the newer high-rises that went up around Barclays Center and Pacific Park. A job here is either a walk-up carry or a service elevator booking, and we come set up for either.
In the row houses it is the usual brownstone reality: a stoop, a parlor-floor flight, and a tight turn at the landing. In the towers it is a different set of rules. Certificate of insurance to the management office, service elevator reserved, loading dock time slot, and a move-out window the building actually enforces.
The neighborhood turns over quickly, sitting where it does between the park, the museum, and the arena, so we do a lot of move-out and turnover work. Furniture, appliances, full-apartment clear-outs, and renovation debris, usually on short notice.

Walk-ups and elevator buildings, both
Old brownstone or new tower, we're set up for either, including the buildings that need a certificate of insurance and a booked service elevator before we can start.
What working in Prospect Heights actually involves.
-
Walk-ups and towers, two different jobs
A brownstone here means carrying by hand down a stoop and a parlor flight. A Pacific Park tower means booking the freight elevator and the dock, then working inside the window the building gives you. We handle the paperwork and the booking on the second one so it does not land on you.
-
Certificates, dock slots, and enforced windows
The newer buildings around Barclays want a certificate of insurance on file before a crew enters, and they hold you to the reserved elevator time. We send the certificate ahead and show up inside the slot, because missing it usually means rebooking for another day entirely.
